Last week we told you about the new comic book adaptation by Guy Ritchie; for the anti-hero, Lobo. In our posting we mentioned that "he has a very distinct look and sort of reminds me of 'the comedian' in Watchmen." This week, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played "The Comedian" in Watchmen, gave an interview with Collider, and here's what he said:
...they’re making “Lobo” right now. That would be cool. “Lobo” would be very cool. I don’t think that I’m as big as Lobo is, but if you could, like, transplant Mickey Rourke’s body on my head, that would be just great... Comic books are really the thing right now and I don’t see that going away for at least the next couple of years.
Well we obviously know what we were talking about. "The Comedian" wants to play Lobo, how great is that? Morgan has the look, the physical build of the character, and has experience in this comic book genre. Guy Ritchie should listen!
