The original came in 1975 with the late David Carradine playing the main role of Frankenstein. That role was taken up by our generations action star, Jason Statham. Now the 2008 film grossed over $70 million worldwide, not too shabby! I feel as though no one saw the movie... I'll be as bold as to say Death Race (2008) is the best action movie no one ever saw! It was soo entertaining. Statham does his thing, ripped body, smart ass remarks, but does well enough to carry the picture. Tyrese didn't need to be in the movie at all, but that's ok, they needed a "rival". But I encourage all our readers to go out and rent this movie! Let us know what you thought.
