I have to admit, Peter Jackson is one of my favorite directors today. His work on
The Lord of the Rings trilogy really changed the way movies are made. His
King Kong wasn't my favorite, in fact, I hated it. But that doesn't mean everyone else didn't love it. Agree to disagree I always say. His latest film is
The Lovely Bones, based on the best selling novel. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon and Stanley Tucci. Impressive cast!
The movie is about a girl named Susie who is murdered at the age of 14. She goes to "her perfect world" and looks over her family.... and her killer! In the meantime her father (Wahlberg) is relentless in finding the killer. The visuals of Susie's world is breathtaking, and we'd expect nothing less from Jackson.
